De haviland Beaver

RC FLOAT PLANE

The 72" wing version in the logo at top left of the page is one i built some time ago from the smaller Unionville Hobbies line of rc float planes.

The Beaver is one of my favorite bush planes and the plan is to completely sheet this one and cover in fiberglass allowing the addition of rivets,panel lines etc.

Power will be a 25cc homelite weed eater conversion swinging a scale 17" prop.

These are builders kits. Instructions are written with the experienced builder in mind. The construction is stick with few parts that are precut. Wing ribs,firewall and a few parts in the cabin are precut. everything else needs to be cut and fitted.

Fiberglass cowl is included as well as plastic wing tips in this size of kit.

A 12 foot wing kit is available for those that like them really big.
